The Asian Artisan area of the Niihonmachi Street Fair has welcomed a wide variety of artistic talent from all over the Bay Area and beyond. Many of our artisans like Waka Ozawa, Kayoko Designs, and Kimochi Ceramics have been participating at the Nihonmachi Street Fair for over 25 years. Many of the artisans travel all over the United States to participate in various artisan fairs.
During the Nihonmachi Street Fair Post Street becomes a gallery of our talented artisans. You can see how their culture is reflected in their art.
By supporting our artisans you support their creativity. It's a great opportunity to meet the artist and ask questions about their craft.
